aaron pitcock

I was born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio. I developed an early interest in
music by attempting the saxophone, which led to a greater appreciation for
hearing people who can actually play music well. I began trading Dave
Matthews Band concert tapes in 1996 and the hobby quickly grew into a
passion, along with a fascination with the integrity it brought to the
music. I left home for Miami University in 1999 and became more involved in
working with musicians while attending as many shows as possible. I became
a campus rep for O.A.R. and followed their path to success over the past few
years. Around the same time, a good friend introduced me to The Shantee's
music, and I felt a real connection with it. I started handling promotions
and grassroots marketing for the band in June of 2003, and look forward to
wherever it takes me in the future. When I'm not at a venue, I love
camping, hiking, boating and whatever else you can do outdoors.
